Delivery of the Category B fit-out for HTI Group’s new purpose-built headquarters, creating a modern, high-quality workplace tailored to the operational needs of a multinational business. The project marked a significant milestone for the client, transforming a newly constructed building into a fully functional headquarters that supports both current operations and future growth.
The Challenge
The fit-out was delivered to an exceptionally tight programme, with a fixed occupation date and no flexibility for delay. All design development, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and snagging activities had to be carefully managed within a compressed timeframe. The project also carried added importance for the business owner, representing their first project of this scale and complexity, requiring a flexible approach to accommodate evolving requirements while maintaining programme certainty.
Our Solution
Following the successful procurement and appointment of the interior design team, we acted as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor throughout the fit-out delivery. We coordinated the client, consultants and contractors to ensure design, procurement and construction activities remained aligned with the occupation deadline.
Through proactive programme management, rigorous cost control and regular project reviews, we maintained progress despite client-driven changes and evolving operational requirements. Clear communication, structured decision-making processes and close stakeholder engagement enabled issues to be identified and resolved quickly, keeping the project moving without compromising quality or budget.
The Outcome
The headquarters fit-out was successfully completed and handed over in line with the client’s occupation programme. The finished workspace provides HTI Group with a high-quality corporate environment that reflects the company’s ambitions and operational needs.
